A lot goes into preparing for a newborn photo session. One of my favorite bits is the styling. Styling involves more than just color and clothing. Texture, pattern, and mood are just a few more of the bits and pieces that need to be considered. I love this part though. I get to talk with the parents about their ideas and together, we put the pieces together. I often find myself playing with the details for hours before finalizing the choices. I lay out some fabric, accent pieces, props, and other items and put them into place until it all comes together beautifully.
